Situated in the dense and diverse community of downtown Los Angeles, Skype’s Headquarters - L.A. Node, seeks to create a public environment that not only promotes social interaction and communication, but also aims to strengthen linkages between its users and their context. This project weaves public and private programs together, encompassing a large plaza that acts as a datum to set precedent for interaction and communication among occupants, users, and the surrounding community.
